Did You Get It?

My family spent our holiday break in Maihama
which is near Tokyo and close to Tokyo Disney Land.

The hotel we stayed in had a big swimming pool.

My youngest daughter wore two helpers for swimming. 

(I'm not sure what its English name is, but
it helps a child to float. In Japanese
we just call them "helper".)

She tends to act big sometimes.

At that time, she made a game that was hard to understand.

She was like, "Now, we'll start a swimming race.
Touch the rope dividing the lanes."

My oldest daughter frowned while listening to her.

My youngest daughter continued,

"The one who wins to touch the rope first is a winner.
And a winner wins, a loser lose."

Listening to her, I giggled.
There is no surprise that a winner wins and a loser lose.

She added, "Did you get it?"
I laughed because

she looked like a drowning sea otter.

Echo01 said they called the helper "arm band" or "swimming belt" in Britain.
Ashley told me that Americans called it "arm floaties" or "swimming floaties".
