Every weekend my elder daughter takes her puppy out for a walk,
although on weekdays I get up at 5:30 am to do it.
When she and the puppy came home she looked sleepy and laid down on the floor.
I spread a blanket over her.
(On weekdays I must say "Don't be lazy and do your homework.")
Then my younger daughter and the puppy joined in.
They made a heap chatting and laughing together.
I was so sorry I couldn't be their companion making the heap.
I had to leave for work.
You call the parent who give their children heaps of love
a doting parent in English, don't you?
It's funny I guess.
